    Odd thing. All looks pretty new. Frame looks like resin or fiberglass with a plywood backing. Picture appears to be a brush-stroke enhanced print with antiquing. Not sure why the hidden mirror. Guess for the novelty of it.

    there it was hard send you all informations before buy it.
    it was a bid poker on maybe a old painting but for me it still a cool strange object.
    i dont thinks loose much if i will resell it.
    i see a lot of paintings and others cool things and i will enjoy try show you and ask you before take it :)

    Just a note of caution... In the future, do take elaborate stories (nuns, hidden mirror...) and their tellers with all the skepticism they deserve.

    I have no great faith in this painting and its pedigree. It just doesn't look right to me -- nuns or no nuns. I wouldn't pay much for it, but if you like it that is all that matters.
