Meissen? Pendant

Do you think this is genuine?. I know less about porcelain than I do about jewellery . If so does this mark date it?. I’ve looked but there are so many marks I’m just not sure.

Meissen marks are difficult, there are many lookalikes.
I think the pottery etc forum is a better place for authentication of the mark.

Via buying lots, I have ended up with two different "maybe Meissen" pieces. The first one I asked the ebay boards about. I remember I ended up looking at stuff and going cross-eyed.

For the second one, I threw it on ebay with "maybe Meissen" and let the bidders sort it out.

As I recall, I found the winning bid to be "bloody unlikely Meissen."

 

Looks like modern Meissen - they've made quite a bit of jewelry for some time now...

Me too. I did try to be proactive but failed.
I think I will do the same and hope the bidders think ‘ wow, stunning Meissen’

 

Looks legit from here, but I'm no porcelain expert.

 

I trust your judgement from afar though as you are usually pretty quick to pick up on anything dodgy!

 

What's the setting made from? One reason I think it's real is no one collects the newer bits enough to make it worth while faking.

 

Not marked . Tests as silver with a gold coloured wash.

 

That alone makes me think it's legit; the fakes are almost always fake metal too.
