Long story..but I'll try to be brief. Got to know (on line) through ebay a wonderful lady from cape cod. She was raised living around some amazing diverse people one of whom was a relative of a man who discovered one of the largest gold mines in Ontario. He was elderly and gave her a trunk full of things he had picked up years ago. This was one of the items and she allowed me to purchase it privately.
I was thrilled. There is also a flag that I will try to post later. It is the British flag that I can only assume flew at the Addison Kerr mines. The ensign is not the normal colour but is a gold colour. I would love to get some opinions on it.
