    Hello everyone,

I was hoping to get some estimates on what this silver tea set may be worth. There are similar sets online, but the prices really seem to vary by a lot. My set isn't in the best condition. There are a lot of fine scratches from polishing. There are also some deeper scratches that I included pictures of. The finish on the creamer is slightly different than the other pieces because it was polished with a piece of steel wool. The handle is missing from the coffee pot. I'm considering selling it, but I would like to know what to expect considering its condition. Thanks in advance!

Silver is $17.26 per ounce US dollars. That could be your starting point.

I know :inpain: I wonder if it could be refinished with a buffing wheel? Do you think it will put off potential buyers the way it is?

It can be polished. You won't find a handle. No one wants the pattern badly. It is worth its scrap value only.

Or, sell all separately. (Depite Komokwa and cohorts! :))

Pot: Put the dehandled side in a corner of the bookcase and fill the thing with flowers, or a plant, or flowers and a plant.

Creamer: See above. Use shorter flowers. Or milk, for milady's breakfast.

Sugar: It has a LID. Various uses: money stash, jewelry ditto, stamps, demitasse spoon collection, different Kind pf sugar.

And, think of Mrs. Klutz, who may need a fill-in for her damaged set.
