Featured Carved armchair handles of lady ... lots of dots?

Hi, I am new to this board and came across this old chair. Iwas wondering if anyone knows if it has any value. I have searched a bit but have not seen any carved armchair handles like this with all these little dots. Hoping you can help.

Wow, that was a fast reply Any idea what all the dots mean in the carving?

 

In my quick search, those dots are an oddity. I am not very knowledgeable in this area.

the dots are a design element...

 

Still, can't say as I've seen any around!!!! Unique!!

The Auction mentions certain parts of that particular chair may be older & period-actual Jacobean parts on a turn-of-the century chair ?
