My intro

    Hello All,

    I got interested in "cool old stuff" in a somewhat serious way about 10 years ago. I started a business helping senior citizens to downsize. Part of that process included doing estate sales. To do that effectively, I quickly realized how much I needed to learn about all kinds of collectibles. At this point, I consider myself to be a decent generalist. I'm not expert at anything, but I have a pretty good idea of what is likely to have value or interest. I've found that you just never know what you are going to run into!

    I'm 57 and live up north of Seattle in Bellingham WA. My girlfriend and I love to shop garage and estate sales to find treasues to keep as well as re-sell. It's a great hobby and it's been an interesting profession too.
