An ink well for dating.........you may not want to date her

    Hope that attracted your attention. She is now very attractive ..i think English but that is really just a guess. Would love to know age. The attachment ring feels like tin but the top feels like cast or bronze. Any help appreciated thanks

    You sure the ring isn't very tarnished silver ? Just a guess,but I think 1870s ? Shes adorable !

    I suspect the head is not original to the bottle... and the bottle itself isn't old.
    The bottle would be...higher quality. The head doesn't actually fit.

    There is precedence in Ma Pa inkwells.
    IE The German made Carter's ink Ma and Pa inkwells.
