Please help decipher the markings on this silver butterfly.

    This mark stumps me. It's pretty easy to see but I have no idea what it means. Any thoughts?

    Mexico perhaps? "MEX 925" as the first line? Butterflies are a fairly common theme in more modern Mexican jewelry.

    I found a Taxco (city in Mexico where a lot of silver items are made) number "TV-114 FVG" which looks like a possibility for your 2nd & 3rd lines.

    It is always a good idea to show the front also. How a piece looks can speak volumes to someone looking in who can help :)

    Ah, okay. :)

    Yours would also be a taxco number. Here's a little blurb on what the taxco numbers mean...
