Purchased this about 7 years ago at an antique store. It was covered in a thick brown paint...ended up refurbishing it.

Although I am clueless on how old it is...any ideas?

20th c. about as exact as I can suggest. Really like the drawer that looks like tiger maple. You gave it a great make-over if that beautiful wood had originally been covered in paint.

Mid 20th century colonial revival (there's that word again!) piece in maple.
VERY nice figure on that long drawer, good job on refinish.

Not antique, but solid mid-20th century usefulness and value.

Thank you all for the input. I had a feeling it was 1930s-40s due to the phillips screws used.

I plan on selling this piece....any idea on the price range?

Nice refinish job but am guessing the hardware not to be original. Think most likely from the 60s or so. Phillips head screws, while available earlier, were not used much in American furniture until the 60s-70s. At this point it is just used furniture and worth what you can get for it. Certainly under $100.00. I can pick up similar needing refinishing for as little as $15.00 at auction or thrift store. Your refinishing job is certainly worth something but it remains to be seen whether or not people will pay for it.
