Brass candlestick

I bought this on a local market. Some guy there has four rows of tables, each about 10 metres long, with a few assistants to help him. Unfortunately a lot of the ceramic stuff gets broken as it is just thrown about by them. The brass ware prevails though.
It has some age I think and possibly some religious connection. Edit 17.5cm tall

 

Beautiful,looks like something one would find in Europe or the UK.An antique where I live's a 1972 Dodge Charger !

 

I think it is French.

Silver bell-It's an beautiful area,the ocean's 1 1/2 hrs away,the mountain's an hour.
There could be maybe 5-10 real (not GW) Charities within an hour or two round-trip.
Compared to California-no real Fleas,Boots,Estate's recycled *** & kid's clothes Garage Sales.
5 Charities closed during Covid.Craigslist & FB Mkt uninspiring.You've definitely got to think out of the box round here pickin' wise.
But we found an amazing house for 1/2 price of California-not a bad trade !
