Featured Marks on cross pendant? Russian?

    Hi there, haven't been posting in while, been busy with the grandbabies.

    My mother in law just gave me some more jewelry and she has this cross that
    I thought might be silver but when I looked at the bale on it is covered in stuff.
    Looks like the number 58 but I am assuming it is 56 and an bunch of other markings on both sides of it. I haven't tested it.

    Anyone recognize this. I know I found 56 is Russian gold but I can not find any of the other markings that match what it has on it.

    Yes I thought that but then the number 56 threw me off. I thought maybe it was some other markings that might look like Chinese or Japanese.

    number side X白金 = white gold
    other side 金XX = gold
    is all i know :hilarious::hilarious:

    .585 definitely is. I have personally never seen just .58 rounded down but could be. If there was a diamond somewhere on the jewelry it could refer to the carat size of the stone but probably not. It looks more silver in color. 14k white gold? Could be really low grade silver??
