“Blackamoor” bust - what IS it?

    I believe it’s terracotta.

    I don't really think the display piece has anything to do with the candy named Cargo, but can imagine the figure on a Haitian sugarcane plantation.

    Thanks, @David Askett , I think it could be terracotta too, is it a very LIGHT "pink" color, rather than clay-red or white?

    Yes, right under the paint it appears to be white but, below that, a light-pinkish terracotta colour.
