Bought a few WW2 newspapers can’t seem to find them online though. They seem to be in good condition. Does anyone know how to tell if they are from the right time period and what they would be worth? Paid $20 for them all. Have more that there are not pictures of as well. Thank you!

Daily News = New York City. Newsday = Long Island. Have you checked eBay Completed & Sold listings for comparables?

The Newsday ones look like reprints to me. The paper doesn't look right for editions that old.

Thank you for the recommendation! They aren’t worth much from what it seems

I can't imagine the circumstances in which an edition of Newsday would be reprinted. Generally, old newspapers don't have a great deal of value. Exceptions, of course.

Well, do an online search. There are lots of sources for Newsday reprints. Admittedly most popular would be days on which important things happened - like this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/115336869600

I have found Kansas city star reprints of important events. I just cleaned out my mothers house after she passed away. My Dad had stacks of old Life and newspapers of WWII era. He was a WWII / Korean era Marine so they had more emotional meaning to him than even to my mom. I use to sell Life 1940's mags but mostly to WWII vets. Most of them are gone now so little interest.
