Yup, that's what they are. And the outfits were layered, which is why you have less decorated and more decorated ones.

Might be a bit later. I've my own gown, very similar, and that's 1950s. (Pure silk, embroidered by my astonoshingly talented grandmother. )

It's very hard to see details in these pictures, but I'm with OBB. My gut says 1940s at the very earliest.

I'm in agreement re: 1940s at the earliest... but I'm thinking could be even newer. Some close-up photos of inner construction, laces, and back side of the embroidery may be helpful.
I had my kids baptized in this type of stuff in the late 1990s. It is still being made today. The garments OP shows are fairly plain when it comes to heirloom baby clothing, which is why I think newer. They don't put quite as much effort into it anymore.
Feltman Brothers is still in business!

I say earlier for the first gown, very fine cotton, tiny pintucks where the fine cotton is separating from age, older design, about circa 1900 I'd guess ... Joy.

Mine has fine pintucks: grandmother learned her craft before WW1. Couture seamstress, apprenticed to the House of Worth at the age of 13.

When dolls were the big sellers a few years back, those dresses were very much sought after to dress dolls. That's here in the US. Joy might have had the same experience.

Plus they were also desirable for those who wanted to dress their newborns "heirloom style" for their Christenings.

Not sure their desirability today. A quick search on ebay might help to know.
