Any ideas on how old the doll might be? It is stuffed with sawdust. The joints are wired with metal. The head is hand painted and looks like composition. TIA :)

    Thank you for tag xx

Will preface by saying I don't really know about this sort of dolly, my thing is Sindy & fashion dolls. This is a souvenir type doll though, and they were made in a similar way for decades.
Twentieth C for sure, I am inclined to say 1930ish but hopefully someone else knows better than I do xx

Based on the style of the face, I would guess 1920s-40s.

    I agree...20's to 40's.

Head might be compo, but it also has a molded plastic look to me.

Strange look. Head almost looks too small. (marriage?) First glance I thought possibly boudoir doll, but limbs don't look floppy enough.

Curious about the green "string" on the body.

So interested in comments above as I didn't have a clue as to age. The embroidered band around neck is unusual (to my eye.) Wonder if wasn't a foreign doll originally in native costume.

Agree with foreign/souvenir costume doll. The ribbon around her neck is something you see on Hungarian costume dolls. Maybe others too, but at the moment I can only think of Hungary.
