Mark on Porcelain Bird from Japan Help

    Hello,
    Need some help with a stamp on this bird.
    Is it an Oriole? The stamp is 1903 Japan.
    4"h x 2" w
    Not finding anything still if you can help?

    The number is more likely a mold number than a date.

    Yes, if it says 'Japan' it's post 1922 when the use of Japanese characters or 'Nippon' was disallowed for import to the USA.
