A few auction bits, antique or modern?

    Hello! A few pieces from an auction lot that I would appreciate info on. They were described as "antique" but I usually take that with a pinch of salt. The cherub pendant has a void in the back, is it old enough to be a hair keeper or is it a more modern revival piece? It looks like it should open but I don't want to force it. The earrings I am guessing are modern but I wanted to check (the hooks are new I think). I don't know if either are silver, I am waiting for new testing acid to arrive-no markings that I can see. Thanks all :)

    The casting of both are rather crude,so I think modern too.

    Most castings were more crude before WW2.

    They both scream modern for me too. The "crude" part nonwithstanding, the designs just don't look old unless you count late 1980s/early 1990s as "old". (I'm too darned old to think things made when I was an adult are old!)
