    Hi all,
Just curious if anyone has any background or better verbiage to share.
I have been on the hunt for some time now for a piece similar to one I saw a few years ago. The original piece I saw was a medium sized oval frame with convex glass, with two taxidermied / "pressed" birds (with natural feathers). Is there a particular name for this??
I have come across smaller versions which were more of an artsy drawn or painted bird with feathers glued on, but I really want a full size piece. I frequent a wide range of estate sales and auctions including some high end places but I have never seen another with real birds. Is there anywhere in particular I should be looking where I might have better luck?
Thanks in advance for any expert advice :)
