Chinese Wood Carved Figure, Age / Dynasty?

    Any info on this guy? I can't find any good comps with Google Lens or on Ebay. Appears to be some kind of Chinese Deity / Immortal. He's approx 6 3/4" tall.

    I wonder if he is a Samurai? I thought this was roof tile but you stated it was wood? Are you it isn't pottery/stoneware?

    Wonderful figure, PA. Qing dynasty, 19th century imo. He does look like a deity, but without attributes or animal mounts he can be difficult to identify.
    I agree with PA that it is Chinese, so no samurai.
