The UK is also European, it is just not EU or on the Continent.;)
The Brits are very lucky, it is unfathomable to me that there are so many clueless sellers over there.:jawdrop:
Unfortunately Dutch sellers are generally too savvy, and when I could still go out, our local kringloopwinkels (we add a loop:playful:) only used to sell low end recent costume.:(

Looks like the Brits are sitting on a gold mine (least for now !). Brit thrift prices are what US prices were in the late 70's early 80's.Back then,if something looked interesting it could cost 35 cents to 5 bucks.
Don't know why a nation with such an ancient rich & historical history has so many clueless sellers-but happy for you folks over there.
Hail Britannia & scoop up as much as you can !

Dead on Bro ! I don't see much evidence the War On Drugs has worked too well since Nancy Reagan launched it in the early 80's.
After Fentanyl there'll sadly be something else.
One thing about Fentanyl Addicts-from talking to a few ER Nurses, they're not clogging the ER's,just the morgues.
I wish all these poor souls peace.

    I don't understand Fentanyl...or car-fentanyl.............

the worst I ever encountered was some hash that had dried out and lost it's kick.....

It seems to be an artificial super opiate-too strong for mortal humans. If one was at all religious, superstitious,or into the occult-you could see Fentanyl dealers as agents of the Dark Lord.
Course I don't see humans as having to go beyond their own psyche to summon great evil.

Kira-Me too re Customs ! Seems like we blow that much on Chinese takeout these days.
Was out yesterday and a gal my age bounced up the stairs (i hobbled).I complimented on how spry she was.She pulled up her shorts & there was a 2 1/2" scar on her knee !
She said once the surgery's done-you've got to do your PT religiously.Maybe this'll finally get me off my ass & away from Icollector & Ebay.

Here is the project I was talking about earlier: these earrings (I already showed them here) were missing some blue enamel.
I am lucky enough to have two daughters who go to art school and who love to paint so I asked the youngest one to come and help me. She ended up doing all the work by herself.
I m proud of her, the result is pretty nice.
Its not perfect but its much better than when I bought them (what was it, also 1,5€ at a kringwinkel?) :D

Beautiful !-looks Etruscan meets Florence/Egypt.Is that actual gold or plate ?
There's a paint-on bake enamel you cook in the oven that the antique electric fan restorers use that's fairly indestructible...but stinks up your stove (!?).
PS-An original Diehl Turbine Blade Fan sold for about $100,000 in the 1990's.

18 carat gold...cant find my original posting here but these were another amazing find for 1 or 2€ at a kringwinkel a few months ago.

Wow-even my crude amateurish eye catches 18K ! My Persian & Indian clients show up in their 18K-it's hypnotic ! Really most US 14K I find brassy, but 18-20k has mesmerized the human race for thousands of years.
You could find it in a US Thrift, but even from a good distance the stuff is riveting.

@#*% !-To find 18K in a US GW you'd have to jackhammer a trench in the floor & pull out your gold pan.
