Featured I have another unusual item I need help with

You helped so much with my last oddity, I'm back with more.

I think this is a dental pick with a bone handle. I'm not sure if it's a personal use item or a dentist's tool. It would help in my research if I could make out the name on the metal.

What does it look like to you? I think I have it turned in the right direction because it's turned as it would be in the right hand. Being left handed myself, I spent a while looking at it turned the other way.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a Worthopedia account I can see it sold for $50.

I bought this as part of a vanity set of nail tools. I don't think the owner had any idea what it was. It's like the last medical instrument I showed up with for info. It was thrown in with some sewing tools.

But. I do like to buy unusual things and find out what they are. I bought something else in a box of jewelrylast night that I'll be posting soon.
