Aisan Carved Nuts ? Necklace

Chinese/Tibetan? Not very typical motif with the mother and child. Usually you'll see lohans, immortals, boats etc.
The white carvings, some type of nuts?
The bigger beads looks like aventurine, the smaller ones like painted plastic.

 

Carved ivory-like nuts might well be tagua nuts, "vegetable ivory."
Native to South America, but used world-wide for bead and other carvings.
It could be that your necklace was assembled from bead items originating in number of countries.
Bead suppliers are very eclectic, carrying products from around the world, so one may well find necklaces assembled from unrelated or incongruous parts.

 

The beads could be with different origin but they have a lot of common. All Asian symbols. You have the the Buddhist knot beads, the fu character beads, the lotus ones and the Asian looking figures.
