Chrome Standing Baby, Trophy topper? age?

    This little gut I found at a local yard sale. The man that sold it to me told me he had it on his car hood for years. lol.
    It is 4 1/4" tall, looks like chrome plated metal. magnet doesn't stick.
    There is some markings on the inside of the bottom, but on closer inspection.
    it looks like just numbers.

    Looks like an Automobile Mascot/Hood Ornament to me.But,it could also be part of a 'Most Beautiful Baby Trophy'.

    I have seen the biggest baby trophy, it has the same standing figure but they are all plastic.
    So could be most likely for a trophy.
