I’ll try I to report back on that one. I’m more of a dark choco and pastry guy so I only break into them when I’m out of anything better. They’ve all been pleasant so far though.

 

I'll eat anything not trying to eat me first. Even Jell-0, although that's somewhat suspect.

 

American Kit Kats are horrid. Nothing like proper ones here.

The best method I've found to scrap knives easy involves setting one down on a hard surface (I use bricks underneath) and then partially smooshing them by hitting them with a hammer (don't fully smoosh) then rotating the handle 90 degrees, more hammer smooshing, rotate, hammer etc. Once I started using this technique, most knives became much easier.

thanks for the tip MrNate, will give this a try next time I get knives. I like mirrors, I find they are very easy to take apart and no cuts to me which is a plus, lol

 

I leave them intact because crafters like to mess with the handles, and if they're damaged they're just scrap. The last time I had one, I had a set of 12. No way was I messing with those. A local antique dealer jumped on them.
