Antique Composition Doll 20" Maybe Madame Alexander??

    I'm not sure who the maker of this doll is,20" tall with blonde wig,open mouth with teeth,cloth body.Anyone have an idea.Look like a doll I came across like madame alexander.I looked all over the doll,I don't see a name or company.     Definitley not Shirley! Ideal was the only company that made Shirley (and marked)..........others had to be termed "lookalike", and this doll does not look like Shirley..........at least not to me.

    Did you peel back the bottom of the wig to perhaps reveal a company name?

    Any tag on the rompers?

    She could be made by any company. American Character comes to mind for some reason.

    I tried to look under the wig,the neck,bottom,found nothing.I'll look again.
