What is this wooden unit?

    Hello

    This unit is for sale in a local second hand shop, i wonder if anyone can ID the wood/origin.

    Stands a little over 5ft tall and is incredibly heavy. Sorry, its the only photo i am able to get right now.

    I imagine that would be considered folk or outsider art. Sure looks one-of-a-kind.

    Looks like chainsaw carving - but I don't know what type of wood.

    It is pine and I agree with chainsaw carving. It is a piece of craft or artisan furniture.
