What kind of wood plane is this?

    Hey everyone! Hoping someone can help me narrow down what kind of wood plane this is. I can’t find any that have the blade towards the front like this one. This one also has a metal strip on the bottom that has a raised center section. I was thinking a dado plane but I’m not sure. Whatcha think?

    Hi heybosz, stumpy nubs you tube working channel has several on display on his shelf behind his work bench. I believe he did a show on these discussing all the different profiles. Thanks for posting that! M77
