Etched Fish Chinese Porcelain Bowl

    I picked this up today at a thrift store. I suspect early 20th century but honestly have no clue. Any thoughts are appreciated. The bowl measures 8" in diameter. The mark is impressed.

    Could this be Japanese intead of Chinese? The only similarly decorated pieces I could find were from the Song Dynasty. The stars, swirls, flowers, and fish don't strike me as an ancient design. It reminds me of 1960's and 70's more.
