Any ideas on where from and approximate age of this?
I got it for .50 cents at a yard sale.
    Thanks

I'm no help, but willing to bet it's a 'portrait' of an actual facade somewhere.

Maybe cedar or cotton wood bark. Lots of very similar from many places show up on a Google image search.

We have a small one like that. My wife thinks we got it in a gift shop while in Mexico. Even if that's not its source of creation, it was bought as new in the last 20 years.

PS: She is correct, it's a product of the Tarahumara.

    Wow! Thanks @Roaring20s
I am very familiar with the Tarahumara tribe.
Someone might remember the charcoal drawing I have of the Tarahumara girl.I posted about three years ago It is hanging in my hallway.

If I were to find this overhere, I'd think Portuguese cork carving.
