Featured Vintage or antique Face Jug? Dead end on this one

Discussion in 'Pottery, Glass, and Porcelain' started by MAX Dennis HARTMAN, Sep 14, 2023.

  1. Hello, found this lovely jug. Ceramic eyes and teeth, and marked. At a dead end on maker age or area where made. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

There’s a FB group - Just North Carolina Art Pottery, I think - that might be able to help. The red clay may be NC. I’m in SC, and face jugs are fairly common around here.

Just to let you know I sold something through Crocker Farm a few years back & had a wonderful experience. They thought my item was American but it turned out to be English. They offered to send it back but I opted to let them keep it & ended up selling for more than the estimate they had given me. Everyone was super nice & payment was issued fairly quickly.:happy:
