Featured Can any help with markers mark.

Hello everyone I was hoping that someone might recognize this makers mark on this ring I have tried to search myself but just can’t find it if anyone has any ideas or knows who the maker is I would love to know thanks for anyone’s time.

 

Looks like a stylised E J.

Hello bear that was my thought the EG and EJ I looked everywhere with no avail I tried a screen shot search of the hallmark as well still nothing unless it’s a one off ring but seems like the hallmark is very detailed for a one off kinda item anyways thanks for your reply….

 

The dark spot looks like a wolfs head and the J or G looks like a fox head the dark spot that looks like a wolfs head doesn’t come off so I think it might be intentional……

 

Yes it does seem very detailed to me too.
I cannot exactly see the top of the ring, is it abalone shell or turquoise from New Mexico or old Mexico or somewhere southwest?

 

It’s a brown blue turquoise. Thanks for the reply antidiem I would take a better picture but I gifted it to my sister …

 

Hard to tell where it was made,the 925 stamp wasn't used much until the late 1990's. Marker's mark stamp are fairly inexpensive now... start at around $25,in the past could be $100 plus.

I’ve got 925 stuff bought in the seventies here. And it goes way back before that.

 

I am not concerned about the value my sister fell in love with it that’s all that matters to me I was just interested in the maker but thank you hollyblue for your reply it’s appreciated

 

I o believe you showed the mark upside-down but if I look at it right-side up I don't see letters.
