Help with this antique electric box. What is it?!

    Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help me with identifying this antique electrical box? 8 wires coming out of it. Has a glass face so its hard to take photos without a reflection. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    The 800 ohm coils are for a western electric ringer

    I can't see the rest well enough but it looks similar to an old automatic fire dialer I once had. But that had a clockwork that did the dialing sequence.

    Seems to have the top broke off where the brass ringer bells were?
