Antique Slant Front Secretary Desk

I can't find any info on this. It appears to have been made in a Spanish-speaking country overseas. More pics coming shortly. Thanks for any help!

 

Petropolis is a city in Brazil. Can bet it is Brazillian mahogany. Looks to be early 20th century based on the styling.

I see that Petropolis is a city (looks beautiful!) in Brazil's highlands of the southwest region; some sites say it is near the state of Rio De Jainero, but Wikipedia says it is in the state.

Getting back to the piece, according to Chronicle Collectibles, the rarest antique drop-front secretary desks can sell for up to $37,500, while those at the lower end of the spectrum can cost up to $1,000. It has a bit of chipping and could use a refinishing, but I'm assuming it's worth $150-300 as is. I'm wondering if anyone thinks I'm undervaluing it. Also, I'm trying to figure out the style of foot. Below is a better pic:

 

Casa Gelli's MCM furniture seems to be the most desirable. Not sure who the market would be for this. Here's a newspaper article with company history; you'll have to run through Google Translate.
