Hi all. Before I let myself get too excited,I am a tad confused on exactly who made this 9 inch coin silver spoon. Found it today in a shop that NEVER lets nary an object slip thru without being louped and googled to death. And was marked $6 but was on an everything .50 cents table ! I only go in there because they have books for a dime so I stock up for mom.At first I thought "Naw,they dont let diddly slip thru" but picked it up ,saw the marks but didnt have my spy glass and bought it anyway fully expecting plate. I *think* it was made by Gale & hayden circa 1848 but retailed by William Glaze in Charleston. I dont know what the numbers under G&H mean, nor am I clear on if it was made in NY but retailed in the south.Any input is always appreciated.

There is a post in the 925 site's Forum indicating that those numbers are the year the item was made.
