Mutton-Fat Nephrite Carving; Fish, Leaf & Bird? on Gourd? Is It Modern?

    ~2 3/4" high, ~1 7/8" wide, ~3/4" thick; it weighs ~100 grams.
    The orange-brown areas are UV reactive, turning to an opaque, dark brown.
    What have I got here...anything of real interest, or just a modern piece of Jade? Thanks for lookin'!

    Nice gloss and decor!
    I see agate rather than any jade.
    An easy specific gravity test will say, google for a tutorial for jade.
    I see too electric rotary tools signs so, not very old. This is only my opinion!

    Thanks...I gotta agree, nothing old; way too crude, an' the tooling marks tell the rest of the story.
    I'll see what I can determine about material...an' report here.
