Featured Native American or Pre-Columbian?

    Hi Everyone,

    Is anyone able to tell the origin of these bowls? They measure 7.5” diameter x 2” tall.

    Nice bowls. The flat bases mean they are not pre-Columbian.

    Yes, those straight-sided Maya bowls and vessels have flat bases. The design is more 'angular'. But yours are roundsided, so to speak, and I've never seen a round sided bowl with a flat base.

    My initial feeling was that your bowls are post-conquest Maya, but I have nothing to compare them with.
