I found the incense burner at a thrift store, it was very tarnished so I originally thought it was brass but after cleaning it up with some chemicals it went silver. After a bit of research I seen online they sometime make a silver aluminum alloy. Was wondering if anyone has idea on the type of material, age or value?

A recently made aluminium incense stick holder from India. They sell new ones for $5-10, so second hand price is below that.

Thanks for the info. It’s feels very heavy to pure just straight aluminum. Maybe there is something inside to weight it down? Or aluminum alloy of some kind?

It is offered on Indian sites as aluminium, but I suspect it is an aluminium-copper alloy.
The figurines are probably solid, which would account for the weight, but I have never dissected an aluminium Ganesha.;)
