what stamp is on the back of the 2 cent stamp

    i think you'll find thats a picture from a stamp book on the back, showing you a picture of which stamp to hinge on it. reversed its a 2 cent washington
    looks like theres reminents of a hinge on it as well that makes it look more confusing

    The image on the back is smaller than the image on the front, charlie cheswick's observation sounds good!

    good point, but theres no 2 cent washington in that colour, so it has to be, and also why its the wrong way round

    It does not seem to have the thickness of a second stamp. If it were mine, it's time to put it in water and get to the bottom of it. :drowning:
