Wobbly glass thing

    Picked this up for a couple of quid. It's probably not genuine Murano but for what I paid, it's not an issue. It's two tone. Clear round the edges and a bit of a mauve hue in the centre. It's 14cm top to bottom and has a ground out pontil mark on the base.

    It's a candy or nut dish, just meant to be pretty. The base ... I don't think a legit Murano factory would have let it out of the house.

    Looks like it fit into something or is that the light play? A slot on one side and a notch on the other.

    If you mean the foot rim, I think it's just malformed during the blowing process and then gone odd shaped when it has been ground flat.

    Not sure if Chalet has a finished foot like that.....pretty!

    Whitefriars did feet like that but it’s not one of theirs.
