A&C,Bahaus or Trade School Vase ?

    Here's another piece pulled out of storage.Can't find a signature,hammered planished body w/ riveted legs,4" high and no mark I can find-any ideas ?

    Is it wood? Looks like an old pencil cup to me. Perhaps the "thumb print" made it easy to grab.

    Is it brass? The grommets would probably leak water if it's a vase.

    No real idea. If I had to guess, would say German in origin.
