    I didn't see that! I was googling Spanish/ flamenco dancers. The guy at the counter said the dealer wanted to see if the bottoms were marked by a maker.

    I didn't see flamenco, but it would fit with the 30s - Carmen Miranda and all that.

    Spanish flamenco dancer for sure; joolies call those flamenco earrings or Carmen Miranda earrings.

    They could be dancing a number of Spanish dances including Sevillanas or the fandango.

    Even without checking for marks even this semi-ignorant jewelry person would have said that there was a 99% chance of the large one being solid gold!!! :jawdrop::jawdrop::rolleyes::rolleyes::hilarious::hilarious:

    Definitely the best way to start the new year!! :D:D

    Congrats @anundverkaufen!!!! :woot::woot::woot:

    Gawd, I’d have grabbed those based purely on the quality of the cameo carving. The left two are Ceres, I believe.

    Where’s @Bronwen

    Definitely regular manager on vacation. This store has a jewelry pricer that also has to show everything to the manager before putting out, hasn’t been a speck of gold in months other than a few damaged tiny crap pieces priced in the hundreds. Here’s the backs.
