Old Tupton Ware is still made, it’s fairly modern giftware. I like it: designs are good and it’s well made. I often like it better than some modern moorcroft, which it emulates.

Moorcroft. It wants to be tube-lined and Moorcroft is famous for tube-lined flowers.

Pap boats are actually not the worst thing to find; they kept someone alive. Bedpans not so much. :yuck:

My find of the day was surprisingly in the Ill Will that normally doesn't stock on Saturdays. Today they did since tomorrow may be a snow day. I scored a framed sheet of Forever stamps. The frame was still in shrinkwrap. I paid $8 for a sheet of 20 stamps; I think they're $13.60 in the Post Office now, so...Christmas card stamps for next year and can reuse the frame. The matte, oddly enough, they cheaped out on - high acid. Into the can it goes.

I went to an estate sale 2 years ago that had a collection of about 100 invalid feeders :wideyed:

When I had my store, I once had an elderly gentleman come in looking for antique chamber pots and the like.

I know someone who collects them. At least they know what they are, I hate when someone asks for help IDing their single-handled soup tureen :eek::eek:

Every time I see the invalid thing, I have to say it right, right after I say it wrong.
I say it like it is incorrect... invalid.
