Featured Some type of walking stick?

    Found this at an estate sale for a buck and couldn't for the life of me leave it behind. I have no idea what it was used for and the only markings on it are " Pat'd Feb 16 1875 " Hopefully someone here will have a clue :woot: Thanks

    I would never have thought of that as a seat but sure looks like it. Thanks loads and I wonder if the patent is US or other country?

    I wish the 1st dibs price was realistic but as with so many online sites its pie in the sky wishing. This one will go in my stash of canes and walking sticks. Thanks to all for your assistance.
