Help Identify this kneeling angel figurine please

    Hello,
    From my Mom's collection. I can't tell if that is a maker's mark or lettering at the base of the figurine above the heels, or just random drapery folds.

    I can't find anything much searching online. If anyone knows anything about this type of figurine, it would be very helpful!

    We might be seeing Jesus on toast, but it does indeed look like lettering

    I think it says GER on top, and Germany is entirely likely.

    I think might also be Dep for depornit -- means registered or something like that in German, but Moreotherstuff probably has it.
