    Am I looking at these correctly? Kind of a cool older look, were these originally buttons?

    I agree with the orientaton Marote suggested.
    Very close to those chain link buttons too, although with that hook I think it could be a cloak clasp. Some cloak clasps have chains.

    Looks like a cloak clasp to me too. Here's an example with chain.

    I guess I was just throwing a date out there. The mixed metal style sort of reminds me of that era or a bit earlier (20s/30s) for some reason but then wondered if they could even be 1950's, so I averaged them all together and said 1940's. Crazy, I know!

    Not too many cloaks in the 1940s. I'd think late Victorian. Let's see what others think.

    Tag end of the Victorian era into Arts and Crafts somewhere.
