    The pic looks like it could possibly be of Diamondhead, and the old shop name on the back is making us think it's from HI:

    That appears to be a decorative painting. Generic beach + leaning fence posts + gulls scene.

    I would think this was a PX purchase. And selected because the background does evoke Diamond Head. FYI, that linen matting can be used to date your work; it was popular in the late 1960s-early 1970s.
