Suspicious Limoges Mark

Hello,
I recently purchased this box at a small sellers antiques booth. I was quick to purchase it because I thought it was a Limoges at a good price.
After getting a chance to see the stamp clearly , I was suspicious of the markings.
It has EB R. Limoge with numbers.
Has anyone ever seen this mark ?

 

May we see the whole box, please?
And I thought LIMOGES was typically spelled with an S at the end. I, too, would be highly suspicious, though I'm no expert in it.

 

Limoges is a place, not a maker's name.

 

I agree with those above "Limoge" instead of "Limoges" IS highly suspicious. I also would like to see the box itself. It's not unusual to find Limoges boxes with decorator stamps but this looks like a mark meant to deceive. The quality of the box itself and the decoration could tell us quite a bit more.

Very recent transfer ware. It could be from John Q Random factory in France, but they wouldn't have misspelled the regional name. I'd be thinking this had a Made in China paper label that fell off.

I found an item on google lens which looked like the exact pattern so I saved the sticker that was on theirs. This may help as well.

Since it was made in Italy it isn't "Limoges" which is a place in France.

 

Still a pretty box especially if you like cobalt. I'm most used to seeing glass paperweights with that label but nothing with a Limoge mark. Interesting.

I thank you all for your input. I have fallen down a rabbit hole for the last couple of days , searching in different ways for the source of this box. I think many brilliant minds are better than one. I agree it’s transferware. Koscherk Brothers is a good lead. They were importers with goods from Europe. It’s possible this is from them. The R. Limoge signature may be the name of the maker or a ruse to resemble the name. I agree that it’s a beautiful box and I will enjoy it regardless. A beautiful trinket box with a mystery

 

I found a lot of items with the same mark but instead of R. Limoge it says R. Capodimonte.

Could the R. mean "Reproduction" ? -->
R. Limoge = Reproduction of Limoge
R. Capodimonte = Reproduction of Capodimonte ?

 

I've stumbled across either "Reproduced/Reproduction" a few times but then again eBay PowerScammers probably prefer "Real"
