Apologies if this offends but I need to know what this is to decide if I am offended too :hilarious:
Google lens suggests pony or cow, I think cow as there aren’t many brindle horses around. I’m more suspicious of the cuffs and collar fluff though :shifty: It is a big hide with no seams on the back.
It belongs to a family member so we need to decide what to do with it.
Putting aside the obvious, it’s a truly beautiful tactile coat and very good condition except for the bottom edge that needs restitching. The lining is Lambskin I believe.
So, answers on a postcard as to what it is and what to do with it please?

It really is. It’s so soft and shiny! It deserves to be worn and if it’s cow it’s no worse than a leather jacket I suppose!

Far more likely IMO to be brindle hair calf than pony skin. One is common-it’s literally cow leather except the hair isn’t removed. The other will offend some if selling. Unless brought to a zoo I’d assume it’s haircalf.

I’m still thinking haircalf with a shearling lining.

Pretty coat, but all I can think is it looks a little too much like a friend's pittie for comfort. (american pit bull doggie. )
