Found this glass paperweight in a small shop and saw a signature on it. But i doubt that i am so lucky to find a real piece of Escher. So my question is, is this a genuine period signed Escher or a cheap repro from a museum? IMG_20240312_123158690.jpg IMG_20240312_123240566.jpg

I doubt it. Someone has taken an Escher pattern and etched it into glass. I think it's more of a homage thing.

It is not the same as mine and the company exists for a long time first under the name Gordon Art and then later mc escher company. see https://www.baarnescher.nl/
