Just picked this bowl up today,it's 9" across,3" high,no lid.
It seems to be double-walled.The outer decorative wall's pierced, the inner wall looks spun & pounded.
Silver, plated, something else ? Can't find any markings.Any guess as to country of origin & usage ?
    As always,thanks for the help. BOWL4.jpg BOWL3.jpg BOWL2.jpg BOWL1.jpg

Russian? That's a guess, based on the feet.
    Nice find, Bosko!

Thanks for adding your feedback AJ-any instinctual guesses ? With your knowledge, might you suggest any geographical areas ?
    I've not found anything so far-weird. I'll keep looking-Cambodian,Thai-who knows ?

No, sorry. I can tell you what in my opinion it isn't, but not what it is.;)
    Not Tibet, Cambodian, Thai.
The feet look like a more complicated construction than you would expect from many countries. Maybe India, maybe closer to Europe, but this is guessing.

Are you sure the inner...non-pierced...part isn't removable? Just a thought, Bosko.

Hmmm-Guess the unique things about it are the feet, the double walls & (i think) tinned interior. The pierce work's nice but not over the top $$$ and the handles are very basic.
    PS-Honing my keywords & searching !

'Nother word for pierced, I think, is reticulated...but that's for porcelain & etc...not sure if it applies to metalware. Good luck...I like it, too!

Whit-No it's firmly soldered in place.A two piece cooking system would make sense.
The bottom could be fire singed,or that could just be tarnish. The interior tinning (plating) looks pretty fresh though (?).

Better interior pics detailing solder joint & metal fabrication.Perhaps from the Black Sea region ?
    PS-Inner bowl is non-removable.
